TAKING TIME TO UNDERSTAND YOUR BUSINESS
What My Clients Say
Neil was engaged to drive clarity on the relationship between people and finance enterprise data and to support the development of the enterprise data model. Neil has a wealth of knowledge on how finance transactional and reporting systems work. He is also experienced in people data systems. Neil is also a seasoned operator who is able to develop relationships with many levels of the organization; strategic to execution. With this combination of skills, Neil ably supported the development of the enterprise data model for our organization and was able to work across finance, HR, legal, and operations in support of enterprise data objectives. His contributions were critical to creating the enterprise data model and he demystified the relationship between people data and finance data enabling clear traceability of cost and revenue in support of our operations and reporting.
Neil is collaborative, hands on, and balances the short term needs and long term sustainable goals.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Neil on our digital transformation programme for a key financial services client. Neil has supported projects which I have sponsored, through setting up governance, managing stakeholders, give strategic direction to working groups and ensured that all reporting was up to date.
He has been tenacious in seeking understanding of the root causes of issues within the business and has been able to bring clarity and solutions to allow projects to move forward. Neil is simply one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to work with, and has used this to forge strong, trusted relationships with both the client and internal stakeholders.
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Neil for the past three years and can’t recommend him highly enough. His knowledge and ability to turn the complex into something even I could understand is second to none. I can honestly say that the dentsu career framework would not have been as successful, as insightful and land with the business as well as it did if it hadn’t been for Neil’s involvement, eye for detail and analytical brain. I’m genuinely sad that we won’t be working together but wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again, or to recommend him to others.
I had the privilege to work with Neil on a number of Key projects – career framework , Payroll outsourcing , finance data in workday , HR transformation business case and never failed to be amazed by Neil’s dedication, resilience and professionalism as he step us through the complexity of what is involved. Neil is a great partner to work with on any transformation project.
He has led the strategic change programme at a time of great uncertainty for the company and been instrumental in helping put the business back on a firm footing. He is able to turn his hand to many disciplines which is extremely valuable in a smaller company.
Neil is a superb Programme Manager with a wide range of experience. His style lends itself well to building strong relationships with people at all levels within the organisation and coupled with his strategic and structured thinking as well as his versatile approach, leads to Neil being an asset in any transformation programme.
Neil works with me on a wide ranging project to review NS&I customer communications. He brings enthusiasm, business awareness and a questioning mind to help build our insight into how our brand is experienced by customers and delivered by the operational team. He understands process but is not defined by it. An asset to any project looking for someone to welcome change and to make things happen.
The way Neil worked with us was without doubt one of his greatest strengths – he took time to understand us as as people and understand our business – thus gaining leaders trust. This allowed him to influence our leaders rather than dictate which led to accelerated results in the Change & Transformation space. It’s not often consultants leave your business and people want them to!
My objective is to leave the client in an autonomous position to be able to grow further following the completion of each assignment, having created a base and the clarity needed to achieve more for the business and its people.
This is then combined with an understanding of the long term vision and plan to clearly illustrate what is possible for the business to grow and scale once those foundations are in place.
